Wichian Chodok Fort
Used to guard the entrance of Mae Nam Tha Chin from invaders. Still has a few rusty canons present.
Wat Yai Chom Prasat
A few kilometers west from the town of Samut Sakhon. This temple has a tall Buddha image and nice wooden carvings on its bot.
Wat Chong Lom
This shrine features a fountain, almost 10 meters high in the shape of the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy. Receives quite a few visitors of Chinese origin. Take a ferry to Tha Chalong, from there the temple can be reached in half an hour (or take a motorcycle taxi).
