The Erawan Shrine at the Ratchaprasong Intersection in Bangkok's shopping district, attracts many worshippers all daily. They offer garlands to the deity (Brahma). Sometimes ceremonial dances are performed by hired dancers at the site. Passers-by, also on public transport buses, invariably wai towards the shrine.
