A small problem for the Grand Palace is that visitors have seen Wat Phrakaew before, and are already somewhat exhausted and overwhelmed. The solution? Take your time (at least 3-4 hours to see both), drink plenty of water, or come back for another visit the next day. The Grand Place comprises many structures, and deserves your full attention.
